Inviter/Invitee Tree
This tree illustrates the concept of social credit in guild recruitment. Members earn recognition for inviting valuable contributors, especially those who further expand the network. This paradigm incentivizes early adopters to kickstart a guild's growth by rewarding them for initiating productive invitation chains.
Social Credit Algorithm Explanation
The social credit algorithm works as follows:
- You earn 1 point for each person you directly invite to the guild.
- You also earn the equivalent of half of the social credit accumulated by each of your invitees.
- This process continues recursively down the invitation chain.
For example:
- If you invite Alice, you get 1 point.
- If Alice invites Bob and Charlie, Alice gets 2 points, and you get 1 additional point (equivalent to 50% of Alice's 2 points).
- If Bob invites Dave, Bob gets 1 point, Alice gets 0.5 points (equivalent to 50% of Bob's 1 point), and you get 0.25 points (equivalent to 50% of Alice's 0.5 points).
This system encourages members to not only invite others but also to invite active contributors who will further grow the network.
